Post 5: An Expert/ Person in your field that you admire

I had two teachers whom I felt appreciation for and who led me to pursue this career. The first one is my chemistry teacher from high school. Although I don't remember her as one of the best teachers, joining her class sparked my interest in chemistry. After finishing high school, I entered a pre-university program where I met Professor Renato Barbagelata, whom I greatly admire for his entertaining teaching style. He would always tell stories during class and make us laugh with his characteristic humor. He was the one who truly inspired me to pursue this career. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the two of them. An honorary mention goes to Elon Musk. I greatly admire his work as an inventor and a planner, and I feel that he embodies the spirit of what it means to be a scientist. In fact, his work method is based on a derivative of the scientific method.

Post 4: A picture I like

The photos that I like a lot are those of landscapes, these can be like the landscape of a city or with a style of nature, I like that of how the environments are related. I took this one, and it shows a jump of a river where it is surrounded by plants covering the whole mountain by the humidity that generates the jump. i took this picture when i went on vacation last summer to pucon and in that sector there are many places like that with waterfalls, rivers and trails to walk, not to mention the lake and the city of pucon and villarrica. it is a sector that i would recommend a lot if you like nature and landscapes, also has a city that is very welcoming because it has the services of a big city in the middle of nature, so you would not feel limited in your comforts.

Post 3: My Favorite Piece of Technology

 I don't really have a favorite piece of technology, because there are two that i think are indispensable for me, which are my computer and my ipad, although if i had to choose between the two, i would choose my ipad. this is because it has helped me a lot with my university studies, which saves me time in writing and remembering the subjects. i can also use it to entertain myself playing games, watching content, or as an extension of my cell phone to communicate. it has favored me a lot to have the ipad, as i have already mentioned it helps me to study, play, or communicate, and its light weight allows me to carry it anywhere in my bag, so i would recommend having an ipad for those who study, although perhaps for other tasks it would be better to have a cell phone.

Post 2: Why did I choose my major?

  My choice to pursue a major in Chemistry was due to the fact that as I learned more about the discipline, it became increasingly interesting to me. During my last year of high school, I had to take electives and I chose Chemistry. Although I enjoyed the subject, it wasn't until I studied it in pre-university with a Chemistry teacher who inspired me, that I decided I wanted to study something related to the topic. My other options for studying were Pharmacy and Business Engineering, although my childhood dream job was to be a combat pilot or work in aviation in some capacity as I was very interested in military-related things. So far, my experience in university has been good not only because I am studying what I love but also because I have made many good friends.

Hi everyone, My name is Nicolas Brito and i'm a chemistry student at the university of chile. i'm 20 years old and i was born on 08/14/2002 in Providencia, Chile. i live in Quilicura a commune north of Santiago, where it used to be a rural area but now it's like any other residential place.  in my family we are my dad, my mom, and my younger brother, i have a three pets one dog and two guinea pigs. something about me is that i like to listen to instrumental style music. in my free time i play video games of the war genre and i watch series, my favorite food is pasta. and my dream is to live in Florida, USA.
